When I think of Orville and Wilbur Wright standing on a hill at Kitty Hawk, North Carolina, tossing a coin to see which one would take the first airplane flight, and then I think of us here today… I thank God I live in a country.

He gave a nice little speech that started with Orville and Wilbur Wright standing on a hill at Kitty Hawk, North Carolina, tossing a coin to see which one would take the first airplane flight, and then he tied that in with the first space flight. "I think we are very fortunate," he said, "that we have, should we say, been blessed with the talents that have been picked for something like this." (No one had said a word about talents, however.) "I think we would be most remiss in our duty," he went on, "if we didn't make the fullest use of our talents in volunteering for something that is as important as this is to our country and to the world in general right now. This can mean an awful lot to this country, of course."(The Right Stuff)

"…like the Wright brothers stood at Kitty Hawk about fifty years ago, with Orville and Wilbur pitching a coin to see who was going to shove the other one off the hill down there.

I think we are very fortunate that we have, should we say, been blessed with the talents that have been picked for something like this. I think we would be almost(原作では most ) remiss in our duty if we didn't make the full use of our talents. Every one of us would feel guilty I think if we didn't make the fullest use of our talents in volunteering for something that is as important as this is to our country and to the world in general right now. This can mean an awful lot to this country, of course."

ク : I'd like to second some of the things Mr. Glenn has said here.

と続け、さも自説であるかのように(実際のグレンの弁舌を)そのままパクって―I think that we are all very, very fortunate that we have been, uh, should we say, "blessed" with the talents for something like this.  And I think that we would be most remiss in our duty indeed... if we did not volunteer for something as important as this is to our country and to the world in general right now.

I absolutely agree with Gordo.
